Workshop Facilitator/Instructor at The Second City

Jennine Profeta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Jennine began their career in 1988 as an actor, appearing in various shows on networks such as NBC, CBC, and The Comedy Network. Jennine also starred in national television commercials and performed in summer theatres across Ontario. Throughout their career, they have participated in Fringe Festivals in Canada, the U.S., and Australia, as well as corporate events for organizations like The Second City, TD, and The George Hull Centre.

In 1995, Jennine ventured into television writing as a freelancer and self-employed individual. Their expertise in this field has allowed their to contribute as a television writer over the years.

In 2000, Jennine started working as a freelance writer for Chatelaine - Rogers Publishing. Jennine contributed their writing skills to the publication until 2006.

Simultaneously, Jennine worked as a corporate workshop facilitator, teaching team-building and communication workshops to various organizations. Jennine has worked with renowned institutions such as The Second City, Yes Unlimited, The Social Capital Theatre, Slap Happy, Bad Dog Theatre Company, and Theatresports Toronto. Notably, their clients have included Meridian, Questtrade, KraftHeinz, Google, Shopify, University of Toronto, and the Women in Leadership and Business Conference.

Jennine expanded their expertise into the realm of production and performance when they joined Girls Nite Out in 2007. Jennine filled both the roles of producer and performer for the company.

Lastly, Jennine joined The Second City in 2006 as a workshop facilitator and instructor. During their time with The Second City, they also worked as a cast member in theatrical productions until 2008.
