Andy Mitchell currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Securities and Investment Management Association since January 2023, demonstrating a commitment to advancing the organization alongside the team and industry volunteers. Additionally, Andy holds a position as a Board Member at the International Investment Fund Association and serves as Chairperson at IFSE Institute until March 2025. Previous experience includes key leadership roles such as Managing Director and Head of Asset Management Distribution at SEI Investments Canada, and various executive positions at Worldsource Financial Management, Performa Financial, Standard Life Investment Funds, Guardian Group of Funds, and Bank of America Canada. Andy's educational background includes an MBA from Dalhousie University and advanced qualifications in investment consulting, banking, securities, behavioral finance, and responsible investment.
