The Seeing Eye
Kristin Lake is an experienced instructor with a focus on orientation and mobility, currently serving at The Seeing Eye since August 2008. Prior to this role, Kristin worked as a teaching assistant at Perkins School for the Blind from June 2005 to August 2008. Kristin holds a Master of Education in Orientation and Mobility from UMass Boston, obtained between 2006 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Motor Development Therapy from Bridgewater State University, completed in 2005.

The Seeing Eye, Inc., pioneers and innovators of dog guide services, provides specially bred and trained dogs to guide people who are blind. Seeing Eye® dog users experience greatly enhanced mobility and independence, allowing them to retain their active lifestyles despite blindness. The Seeing Eye is a philanthropy, established in 1929, and is supported exclusively by contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations, bequests, and other planned gifts.
