Vera N. has extensive experience in library and volunteer coordination, currently serving as the Volunteer Coordinator at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens since November 2015. Prior to this role, Vera N. held the position of Special Collections Senior Librarian at Sarasota County Government from June 2002 to October 2015, managing the Sarasota Music Archive, Genealogy Collection, and Environmental Collection. Additional experience includes roles as an Information Specialist at EBSCO, a special collections librarian at UNICAMP, and various internships at the Library of Congress and Oliveira Lima Library. Vera N. has also participated in multiple educational programs, including the Florida Library Leadership Institute and holds degrees in library science and social sciences from respected institutions.
