Rita Meyer is an experienced professional in the field of social work, with a career spanning over three decades. As the owner of Self Space since April 1992, Rita has developed expertise in providing mental health services. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Social Worker at a Psychiatric Hospital from July 1987 to October 1990 and working as a Social Worker for the Correctional Service from January 1984 to June 1987. Rita holds a Master of Social Science in Mental Health from the University of South Africa and a BA (SW) Honors in Social Work from the University of Pretoria, alongside completing early education at Hoogenhout High School.

Founded in 2017, Self Space was launched to help address a growing need for accessible and contemporary mental health support.
