Lyn Wardlaw

Lyn Wardlaw has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Lyn is currently the Director of Care at The Selwyn Foundation since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Nursing at Taranaki District Health Board from May 2019 to October 2020. From 2017 to 2019, Lyn was the Operations Manager Surgical Services at Waitemata District Health Board. Lyn also worked as the Executive Director Nursing & Midwifery at Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service from July 2014 to August 2017. Before that, they held the position of Director of Nursing/Facility Manager at Mareeba Hospital in Q/Health from February 2011 to August 2014. Lyn's career began in 2004 as the Service Manager for Woman's Health at Northland District Health Board, where they worked until January 2011.

Lyn Wardlaw's education history begins with a Diploma in Nursing Science from Taranaki Polytechnic in 1996. Later, at an unspecified time, they pursued a degree in Midwifery at Auckland University of Technology, focusing on Nurse Midwife/Nursing Midwifery. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Management from NZIM. Finally, Lyn completed their education with a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Adelaide, which was accomplished by 2018.
