Jason Maciejewski serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Senior Alliance since August 2009, effectively leading a non-profit organization that impacts over 1 million residents in southeast Michigan. With extensive experience in senior advocacy and planning, Jason has held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Advocacy & Planning Officer, where major initiatives such as the creation of the Aging & Disability Resource Center were developed. Jason is also an elected Washtenaw County Commissioner, focusing on expanding broadband access, and has a background in local government as a Dexter Township Trustee. Previous roles in public service include Government Relations Manager for Wayne County and Chief of Staff for Michigan state representatives. Jason holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

We are the Area Agency on Aging 1-C in Southeast Michigan servicing the 34 communities of southern and western Wayne County. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; federal ID 38-2322126. Our programs and services include the MI Choice Medicaid waiver, nursing facility transitions, Meals on Wheels, Holiday Meals for Seniors, Medicare counseling, Friendly Reassurance, health and wellness programs, and many others.
