Alexandria McLemore has a diverse work experience. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Receptionist at the Ellison Miles Geotechnology Institutee. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Student Teacher at Richardson West Junior High Arts and Technology Magnet School, where they designed and implemented creative lesson plans, collaborated with other teachers, and oversaw lessons and activities of 4 English classes. Additionally, they worked as a Tutor at AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Program from 2013 to 2016, where they collaborated with fellow colleagues and implemented more effective tutoring strategies for minority, college bound students, generated discussion amongst the students, and tutored students from diverse backgrounds in English and Math. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a Library Associate and Volunteer Management | Volunteer Coordinator at Dallas Public Library. Currently, they are the Assistant Director, Foster Grandparent Program at The Senior Source.

Alexandria McLemore received a Master of Arts (MA) in Multicultural Women's and Gender Studies from Texas Woman's University between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a Teaching Certification for 8th-12th grade English from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2010 and 2013, graduating Cum Laude.
