Erica Sampson

Erica Sampson has worked in various roles since 2003. Erica began their career as a Cashier at Whataburger in 2003, followed by a Resident Assistant position at Texas Woman's University Housing Department in 2009. In 2012, they became a Loss Mitigation- Foreclosure Prevention at Nationstar Mortgage, then a Brand Ambassador at GMR Marketing in 2014. Most recently, they have been a Senior Financial Coach and Benefits Specialist at The Senior Source since 2016. As a Benefits Specialist, they provide supportive counseling to older adults with financial safety needs, supplies appropriate resource information, and coordinates referrals. Erica also demonstrates knowledge in the areas of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, Social Security and SSI disability, appeals processes for Medicare, Medicaid and SSI, food stamps and subsidized housing, pensions, money management, landlord/tenant issues, fraud/unfair sales practices, and available community-based services.

Erica Sampson graduated from Texas Woman's University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Health Studies, specializing in Community Health Services/Liaison/Counseling.
