The Serenity Project exists for the moment when life quietly splits into “before cancer” and “after cancer” – and you find yourself wondering, “What now?”

Founded by two-time cancer patient, former nurse educator and storyteller, Bron Watson, The Serenity Project is a holistic support space for people whose lives have been impacted by cancer – patients, carers, and survivors. 

We don’t promise quick fixes or miracle cures. Instead, we offer something both gentler and braver: a way to navigate the emotional, mental and spiritual chaos of cancer with honesty, compassion and practical tools, the third space.

We call it a “cancer GPS”. Not a voice that barks directions at you, but an internal blue line you can learn to trust – your own path to healing, no matter what your medical outcome looks like.

At The Serenity Project, we reject the idea that you have to “fight” your way through cancer to be worthy of healing. 
We know that fear, grief and anger can sit right alongside hope, joy and purpose. Our work is about making space for all of it.

What we do:
	•	Share lived-experience wisdom through the Serenity Rising podcast and storytelling
	•	Offer reflective tools, thought prompts and resources to support holistic healing with our weekly 'Check-In'
	•	Create a grounded, safe space for people living with cancer, after cancer, and around cancer, their loved ones, and supporters in our online community.

Our guiding belief is simple: serenity isn’t a goal – it’s a practice. 

It’s the everyday act of returning to yourself, again and again, even when the road takes an unexpected turn.
