Matan Tamary has a diverse range of work experience spanning over multiple companies and sectors. Matan is currently the Director at Social Finance Israel, where they focus on solving employment challenges with an impact strategy. Prior to this role, Matan was a Senior Associate and Associate at the same company, where they worked on innovative financial tools to address social issues in Israel.
Before joining Social Finance Israel, Matan worked at Giza Singer Even as a Manager, leading financial advisory and consulting for large-scale infrastructure, energy, and real estate projects. Matan also served as a Senior Financial Analyst and Finance Analyst at the same company.
Matan began their career as a Research Assistant at the "Aaron Dovrat" Economics Policy Institute and as a Junior Economist at The National Economic Council in the Prime Minister's Office. Matan also has experience as an Operations Manager at Meretz Investment Ltd.
Additionally, Matan served in the Israel Air Force as a Commander and Platoon Sergeant at the Boot Camp.
Matan Tamary obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability and Economics from Reichman University, where they attended from 2013 to 2015.
