The Shefa School
Hayley Ratick currently serves as the Lead Teacher at The Shefa School since August 2022. Previously, Ratick worked as a Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools from July 2020 to August 2022, focusing on curriculum adaptation, lesson planning, and fostering strong family relationships. Prior experiences include positions as a Senior Intern at Montpelier Elementary, a Front Desk Receptionist at Eyecare Associates PC, and various roles as a Junior Intern and Student Intern in elementary school settings. Ratick holds a Master of Science in Childhood/Special Education from Touro University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland.
The Shefa School
The Shefa School is a Jewish community day school in Manhattan serving students in grades 1–8 who benefit from a specialized educational environment in order to develop their strengths while addressing their learning challenges. We specifically serve students with language-based learning disabilities who have not yet reached their potential levels of success in traditional classroom settings. Shefa is a pluralistic community school serving families across the range of Jewish involvement and observance.
