Mark Farnsworth

Mark Farnsworth serves as the Head of Commercial Services at The Sheffield College since October 2022, leveraging 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to enhance income through catering, sporting facility hire, nursery services, and room rentals across multiple campuses. Prior experience includes a tenure as Commercial Manager at Showroom Workstation, where Mark managed events and sales for a multi-purpose venue, coordinating approximately 1250 events annually. Additional roles encompassed a Volunteer Enterprise Adviser for The Careers & Enterprise Company and Home Schooling, along with managerial positions at Venue Options, the University of Sheffield, and The Earth Centre. Mark holds a BA Hons in Leisure and Tourism Management from the University of Hull.
