James Cooper

James Cooper has extensive experience in accounting and business systems analysis, currently serving as a Senior Accountant at The Shelter Group since February 2008. In this role, James manages full charge accounting for a portfolio of ten apartment communities and prepares personal property tax returns. Prior to this, James held similar accounting position at UnitedHealthcare, Bravo Health, and Sierra Military Health Services, where responsibilities included general accounting tasks, treasury support, and accounting for healthcare-related services. James began the accounting career at Integrated Health Services/Symphony Ancillary Services, focusing on general accounting and Medicare billing. James holds a degree from the University of Maryland, earned between 1972 and 1976.
