Alexander Kurzhals

Alexander Kurzhals is a Quality Control Chemist at The Shepherd Chemical Company since January 2022, following a diverse career that includes roles as Plant Manager and Laboratory Manager at Wright Brothers, Inc. from September 2020 to January 2022, and as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Bettera Brands LLC from February 2020 to August 2020. Prior academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focusing on the activation of inert molecules with potential applications in photocatalysis, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Bellarmine University, where experiments on fluorescence quantum yields of transition-metal complexes were conducted.
