Nate Eckert

Nate Eckert currently serves as the Global R&D Manager at The Shepherd Chemical Company, overseeing the company's new product development portfolio while leading a global team of chemists, engineers, and technicians in executing R&D strategies. With previous roles including R&D Leader and Technical Manager focusing on the Metal Carboxylates & Organics Segment, Nate has developed and managed numerous projects aimed at product innovation and commercial growth. Prior to these positions, Nate held roles such as Project Leader and Pilot Plant Manager, contributing significantly to process development and scale-up. Nate's academic background includes a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Rochester and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati, along with postdoctoral research at the University of Delaware specializing in organometallic and bioninorganic chemistry.
