Rob Hart

Rob Hart is an experienced professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as the R&D Manager for Sustainability at The Shepherd Chemical Company since September 2005. Hart has a diverse background in managing R&D for specialty chemicals, overseeing production teams, and leading process improvement initiatives. Previous roles include R&D Leader and Head of R&D, where Hart directed the development of metal-based specialty chemicals, and Carboxylates Production Manager, responsible for a $70MM production team. Hart's career began with a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Argonne National Laboratory, focusing on materials research. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
