James also held positions as Director/Founder at The Shore Group from 2008 to the present, Divisional Manager at Rullion from 2006 to 2008, and Technical Manager at Hays from 1998 to 2005.

James Hobden attended the University of Reading from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in English.
