In 2012, Marcus also had the opportunity to work as a New Victory Operations Apprentice at The New 42nd Street, Inc. During this role, they gained knowledge in managing a not-for-profit theater, assisting in financial management, artist contract tracking, visa application preparation, and spreadsheet creation. Marcus was also able to shadow and assist other departments such as Marketing and Digital Services.

Marcus Berdeguez attended the State University of New York at Fredonia from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre/Theater.
