Shane Vanderlinden

Shane VanderLinden is a seasoned model maker and designer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Model Maker Designer at The Simplay3 Company since November 2013, Shane has also maintained a freelance model making practice since May 1992. Previously, Shane held roles at various organizations, including Technical Advisor for the Industrial Design department at the Cleveland Institute of Art from September 2003 to May 2021, and Modelmaker/Sculptor at The Step2 Company from March 2009 to March 2013. Shane's earlier experience includes working as a Modelmaker/Designer at Nottingham Spirk Design Associates and as a Modelmaker/Designer at VanderLinden. Shane earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Columbus College of Art & Design, completing studies from 1987 to 1992.
