Kate Mackowiak has over 17 years of experience in the information technology sector, currently serving as IT Manager at The SK&A Group since September 2006. Prior to this role, Kate held various positions at MICROS Systems Inc from January 1996 to May 2006, including Project Manager, Network Technical Support Team Lead, and Network Technical Support. In addition to extensive professional experience, Kate holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Management Information Systems from Wroclaw University of Economics.

Our firm specializes in the structural analysis and design of large new architectural structures, structural renovations, and major building expansions in urban environments. We have engineered many award-winning commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, academic, and government projects. Our experience also includes dynamic analysis for wind and seismic design as well as security and force protection issues such as progressive collapse mitigation. In addition to our Design Division services, SK&A maintains a distinct team of specialists within our Repair + Restoration (R+R) Division. Our R+R specialists have remarkable experience and depth-of-knowledge in materials restoration, structural repair, structural strengthening techniques, and building enclosure repair. Testing + Inspection services are also a part of SK&A’s R+R Division. These services cover field monitoring of structural construction work, specialty concrete testing, and field and laboratory testing of construction materials.
