Amarender Katkam

Amarender Katkam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2007, they began their career as a Scientific Officer at Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, where they were responsible for designing and commissioning systems for nuclear power projects. Amarender reviewed and validated various C&I systems in compliance with international codes and standards and participated in safety review committees with regulatory bodies.

In 2012, Amarender joined PL Engineering Limited as a Senior Design Engineer. Amarender'srole involved designing and developing I&C systems for nuclear power plants and oil & gas plants. Amarender prepared conceptual design documents and philosophies for interfacing safety critical, safety related, and non-safety systems.

In 2014, Amarender started their own company, Vses India, serving over 600 B2B clients in the engineering and automobile sector. Amarender received two consecutive global awards as the "Top Distributor in South Asia" from Snap-On Tools Pvt. Ltd.

In 2015, Amarender founded and became the CEO of SmartBridge Educational Services Private Limited. Under their leadership, the company built a strong brand in the education sector, creating unique programs in skill-building and innovation. Amarender created awareness and made academia ready for transforming industries. Amarender also formed partnerships with organizations like IBM, VMware, and Task to collaborate on educational initiatives.

Throughout their career, Amarender has demonstrated their expertise in engineering, management, and business development in various sectors.

Amarender Katkam completed a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. They obtained this degree between 2003 and 2007. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications from IBM, including "IBM DeveloperConnect Roadshow - Chatbot Essentials" in July 2017 and the "IBM Champion" certifications in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
