Shaquida Vergo

Shaquida Vergo is an experienced dance educator currently serving as a dance instructor at Las Vegas High School since July 2022, where responsibilities include teaching, directing, and choreographing for dance concerts and coaching the LVHS Dance Team. In addition, Shaquida has been a part-time instructor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas since January 2015 and a teaching artist for Disney Musicals in Schools Las Vegas at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts since March 2012. Shaquida's previous roles include lead teaching artist program manager, on-call event staff, and paraprofessional at Thurman White Academy for the Performing Arts, as well as choreography positions at various institutions such as Dance Center LV and Chaparral High School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Production Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an Associate of Arts in Dance from Cypress College.
