Katie Hunt

Katie Hunt is an accomplished philanthropy professional with a diverse background in managing fundraising and community engagement initiatives. Currently serving as the Senior Philanthropy Manager at The Smith Family since November 2024, Katie has held various leadership roles, including Head of Philanthropy at Teach For Australia and Senior Philanthropy Manager at St Vincent's Institute of Medical Research. Previous experience also includes managing alumni relations at Carey Baptist Grammar School and fostering partnerships at WaterAid Australia and CARE Australia. Katie's educational credentials include an MBA in Social Investment and Philanthropy from Swinburne University of Technology, and a Certification of Advancement Practitioner in Educational Fundraising, complemented by training from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
