Sonny Biesmans

Sonny Biesmans has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Sonny started their career as a waiter at Carbon Hotel in 2007 and later worked as a receptionist at Hotel Eburon Tongeren. In 2010, they became a trainee assistant general manager at Different Hotels Group. Sonny then joined Carbon Hotel again as a front office clerk and later as a front office manager. At Different Hotels, they worked as an assistant director of development and operations and as a guest-loving assistant manager. In 2016, they became a sales and onboarding manager at Future Hospitality System. Sonny also worked at The Student Hotel as an assistant general manager and later as a general manager. In 2022, they worked as an interim general manager at The Student Hotel Vienna. Currently, Sonny is working at The Social Hub, where they have held multiple roles including regional director operations DACH/UK and general manager. Sonny is experienced in leading teams, strategic thinking, effective communication, financial management, and building connections.

Sonny Biesmans obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Erasmushogeschool Brussel. This degree was earned between 2007 and 2010. Additionally, Sonny Biesmans has certifications in SVH Sociale Hygiëne from HSN: Horeca Stichting Nederland, obtained in April 2021, and Momentum, Authentiek leiderschap & effectieve teams from BTC - Bemelmans Transformation Company, obtained in July 2020.
