Pierre Bousquet

Pierre Bousquet has extensive experience in animal welfare and environmental management. Currently serving as Responsable du Pôle S.A.R.H.A. at La Société Protectrice des Animaux (SPA) since August 2019, responsibilities include enhancing support for diverse audiences and promoting human-animal relationships. Previous roles at SPA included overseeing volunteer resources and leading the service dedicated to animal rescue and aid. Prior to SPA, Pierre Bousquet was the Directeur Général at France Nature Environnement from November 1995 to March 2018, where responsibilities encompassed the organization and financial management of the national federation, alongside strategic development. Educational qualifications include a Mastère spécialisé in impact studies and environment from ESA, complemented by advanced studies in plant physiology and processing from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and Toulouse INP.
