Junior Regional Vice President at SNAME

Jennifer Lin began their work experience as a Naval Architect at Computer Sciences Corporation in 2006. Jennifer then joined SNAME in 2008, where they held various roles such as Chesapeake Section Young Professionals Chair and Chesapeake Section Webmaster. In 2009, they started working at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), serving as a Project Naval Architect, Design Integration Manager, and Deputy Ship Design Manager. In 2012, they became involved with Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP), assuming positions as DC Chapter President and DC Chapter Advisor. Continuing their involvement with SNAME, Jennifer served as the Chesapeake Section Vice Chair and then the Chesapeake Section Chair. Currently, they are a Junior Regional Vice President at SNAME since 2016.

Jennifer Lin's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Jennifer then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Ocean Engineering at Virginia Tech and completed it from 2003 to 2005.
