Troy H. is an experienced storytelling and social media coordinator currently working with The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix since August 2022. Previously, Troy served as a staff reporter and photographer for Cronkite News, contributing to various sections and collaborating with peers. Troy's reporting experience includes visual storytelling and audio gathering, with positions at ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation as a storyteller and AZ Big Media as an intern focused on feature content. Additionally, Troy has experience as a reporter for The State Press, a parks employee for the City of Holbrook, a clerical assistant at Just Your Type, and a cashier at Walt's Hardware. Troy holds a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international non-profit organization dedicated to serving the poor and providing others with the opportunity to serve. The Phoenix Diocesan Council has been assisting central and northern Arizona families since 1946. Programs include services for the homeless, medical and dental care for the working poor, charity dining rooms, thrift stores, a transitional housing shelter and general assistance for individuals in need.
