Aby Abraham Thyparambil, Ph.D. has extensive experience in various roles within the software engineering and research fields. Starting in 2008, Aby worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Clemson University for over five years, where they specialized in characterizing surface phenomena, developing novel methodologies, and implementing data-mining tools for protein configurations. Following this, Aby joined Clemson University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, where they led an innovative approach to accelerate the product development cycle of biosensors and collaborated with international teams to publish peer-reviewed journal articles. Aby then worked as an Assistant Research Engineer at Texas A&M University, where they designed and implemented a data pipeline for molecular simulations and machine learning. Aby also served as an Instructor at Texas A&M University, spearheading curriculum development for Biomolecular and Cellular Engineering Lab courses. Aby later joined The Software Works Inc as the Chief Product Officer and focused on designing reusable architectural patterns, migrating applications to modern UI frameworks, and developing a UI library for accelerated development. Most recently, Aby is working at FedEx Logistics as a Senior Software Engineer, undertaking responsibilities such as designing and implementing UI/UX components for a custom WMS application and leading the global rollout of the product. Currently, Aby holds the position of President & CEO at The Software Works Inc.

Aby Abraham Thyparambil, Ph.D. completed their education in a chronological order. Aby began their academic journey in 2003 at Visvesvaraya Technological University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Biotechnology in 2007. Following this, they pursued further education and enrolled at Clemson University in 2008. At Clemson, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering in 2010. Aby continued their studies at Clemson and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering in 2015.
