Kelli Ridsdale serves as the Head of Marketing & Communications at The Song Room since November 2019, where responsibilities include developing marketing and communication strategies to support the organization's objectives, promoting equitable education, and overseeing the marketing team. Previously, Kelli held the position of Marketing Communications Manager at The Song Room, managing stakeholder communications and fundraising campaigns. Kelli has significant experience in advertising, having worked as a Senior Account Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Australia and Publicis Mojo, alongside freelance roles and positions at JWT and SapientNitro, focusing on integrated marketing solutions and campaign delivery for major clients including Sky UK. Kelli's early career included roles as a Senior Account Manager at Digital and Direct and Daemon Group, as well as production roles at Granada Productions. Education was obtained from Monash University with a Bachelor of Arts and further studies at RMIT University.

The Song Room

The Song Room levels the learning playing field for children experiencing disadvantage through an impactful, sustainable and scalable approach to arts learning. We work in partnership with schools and communities across Australia to improve student outcomes and school engagement. Proven by independent research, our unique model of music and arts-based programs are delivered over a minimum of six months to help disengaged children stay focused, improve their academic performance and social skills. They’re designed to fill the education gap and provide Australian school children with specialised teaching artists and tailored music and arts-based programs. The Song Room’s recognised expertise has also led to the development of its unique, national online arts education portal, ARTS:LIVE.
