Rafael Prado

Rafael Prado is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity, budget analysis, and public policy. Currently serving as an Associate at The Soter Group, focusing on Zero Trust Architecture and cybersecurity strategy, Rafael has previously contributed to the U.S. Department of State as a Budget Analyst and Program Analyst, where responsibilities included resource prioritization and fiscal strategy. Rafael's earlier roles involved project assistance with the National Democratic Institute on cyber threats and disinformation, as well as leadership in public health operations with Curative during the COVID-19 response. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Education and Public Policy from Penn State University, complemented by a certification in Cybersecurity Risk Management from Texas A&M University.
