Anjum Cheema

Anjum Cheema has a diverse work experience in the medical field, starting as a Resident Doctor at Howard University Hospital in 2009. This was followed by a residency at Montefiore from 2010 to 2013. Anjum then worked as a Clinical Fellow at Byers Eye Institute at Stanford in 2013 and later as an Ophthalmologist at Milan Eye Center in 2014. In 2015, Anjum joined The Southeast Permanente Medical Group as an Ophthalmologist and was later promoted to Physician Director for Procedure Suites in May 2020.

Anjum Cheema attended Jesuit High School of New Orleans from 1996 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2004. Subsequently, Anjum completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center between 2005 and 2009.
