Matt Chirik

Matthew J. Chirik, Spaatz #2135, currently serves as the Search and Rescue Officer for New Jersey Wing and as the National CAP-Spaatz Association Liaison. Having joined CAP in 2011, he has attended and staffed several NCSAs including three years on the staff of National Blue Beret, four years and a permanent member of the staff of Hawk Mountain Ranger School, and has attended the National Character and Leadership Symposium. He is currently a rated Incident Commander and active in the emergency services program across Northeast Region. In his professional life, he is currently studying Communications at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He also works for the City of Philadelphia Division of Aviation as a civilian staff member of the Fire Department's Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Unit at Philadelphia International Airport.
