Jim Krajec

Jim Krajec is an experienced reliability engineer currently working at The Spaceship Company - Virgin Galactic since July 2013. In this role, Jim reviews design, manufacturing, and human factors processes to identify weaknesses and recommend risk mitigation strategies. Previously, Jim served as an R&D Engineer and then as a Senior Reliability Engineer at The NORDAM Group from May 2007 to July 2013, focusing on new technologies and analyzing field failure data. Jim's extensive background at Gulfstream Aerospace from 1982 to 2006 included positions as Program Manager, where successful dispatch reliability was achieved across multiple aircraft models, and various engineering and management roles, showcasing a diverse skill set in aerospace engineering. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kent State University, earned between 1975 and 1980.
