Iris Ron

Iris Ron has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Iris is currently the Director of Business Development at The Squadron NYC since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at IR Consulting HR Innovation from January 2018 to January 2023, where they focused on various areas such as business development, product development, customer success, leadership development, and HR transformation. Iris also served as an Advisory Board member at Design Thinking at Pace University from October 2020 to October 2021.

Before these roles, Iris worked at IBM for several years. From August 2014 to November 2017, they were a Product Manager | Smarter Workforce Program Manager | HR Transformation, where they oversaw the development and implementation of an AI-driven product that achieved significant cost savings and attrition reduction. From August 2006 to August 2014, they served as the Country HR Development Leader, managing HR digital transformation and various HR functions for the country.

Prior to IBM, Iris held management positions at IBM Academy and Learning Services, where they managed the Training Business Center and was responsible for sales, marketing, and finance. Iris also worked as a Manager of Business Development for Mindspan e-learning and Knowledge Management Solutions.

Their career began at The Center for Educational Technology, where they served as a Product, Project Manager, and Multimedia Adults Training Systems Instructional Designer from 1993 to 1999. Overall, Iris Ron has demonstrated a strong expertise in business development, HR transformation, and digital technology throughout their career.

Iris Ron holds a MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science. They also have an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Henley Business School. Furthermore, Iris has a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Haifa. They have completed executive education courses in Innovation and Design Thinking from MIT Sloan Executive Education. Additionally, Iris is a Certified Scrum Product Owner, having received training from LeadingAgile SCRUM ALLIANCE. They also hold a Teaching Certificate in Higher Education from Harvard University.
