Dawn Suggs has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dawn started their career in 1998 working in media production as a Writer, Director, Producer, and Distribution Manager. In 2003, they transitioned to NPO Direct Marketing, where they worked as a Fundraiser for L.A. Opera and Monterey Bay Aquarium until 2006. In 2011, they joined Loews Hollywood Hotel, Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, and The Grafton on Sunset as a Sales and Events Associate. In 2016, they took on the role of Project Director for The Donald Suggs Jr. Street Naming Project, coordinating the co-naming of a corner street. During the same year, they also started working as a Contributing Writer for The St. Louis American. In 2018, Dawn became the Video Department Director for The St. Louis American, responsible for increasing web and social media traffic, creating local video content, and driving digital revenue. In 2020, they took on an additional role as the Digital Director and Publisher's Office Administrator for The St. Louis American.
