Chief Financial Officer - Parks & Recreation Department at City of Saint Paul

Brad Meyer has extensive work experience in the Parks & Recreation Department of the City of Saint Paul. Brad started their career in 2004 and held various positions within the department until 2018. From 2007 to 2017, they served as the Director of Marketing & Communications, where they were responsible for managing the department's youth employment and support division, including the City's Right Track youth employment program. In 2016, they also took on the role of Support and Youth Services Manager on an interim basis, overseeing human resources, safety and security, and the youth commission work. In 2013, they briefly served as a Recreation Program Supervisor before transitioning to the Chief Financial Officer role in 2018. As CFO, they were responsible for planning and managing the department's annual budget of $85 million and overseeing a large team of employees.

Brad Meyer attended the University of St. Thomas from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance. In 2013, they obtained the Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification from the National Recreation and Park Association.
