Michele Hayes is the AVP of Marketing at NJ Advance Media. Michele has over 25 years of experience in the field of marketing and research.

Michele began their career in 1984 as a Research Director at Harrington, Righter & Parsons Inc, a broadcast television representative firm. There, they handled Nielsen ratings research for client stations and managed a staff of 4 research analysts.

In 1990, Michele took a position as Research Director - Daytime & Kids Programs at ABC Television. There they analyzed Nielsen Media Audience ratings for sales and programming purposes.

In 2000, Michele left ABC to take a position as Marketing Services Manager at Newark Star-Ledger, where they oversaw the Research and Creative Services areas within the Marketing Department. Michele remained at Newark Star-Ledger until 2014 when they joined NJ Advance Media as the AVP of Marketing.

Michele Hayes has an MBA in marketing from Rutgers University - Newark and a BSC in radio/television from Ohio University.
