Dustin Kneifel is a skilled Research Assistant at The START Center for Cancer Care, specializing in laboratory studies involving patient-derived xenografts and genetic markers related to cancer research, with tenure beginning in July 2017. Prior experience includes serving as an Animal Technician at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center from June 2014 to October 2015, where Dustin developed expertise in lab animal handling and surgical procedures. Earlier roles included Business Manager at The Wendy's Company, overseeing human resources and labor management from September 2007 to June 2013, and Research Associate at the University of New England, where Dustin focused on data interpretation for spectrometer devices from May 2005 to May 2006. Dustin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology, with a minor in Mathematics, from the University of New England, completed in 2006.
