W. Cannon Lewis

W. Cannon Lewis, MD, is a seasoned colorectal surgeon currently practicing at The START Center for Cancer Care since August 2017 and serving as Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital since January 2017. Prior experience includes positions as a colorectal and general surgeon at General Surgical Associates from July 2014 to July 2017, and at Colorectal Surgery Services from July 2012 to June 2014. W. Cannon Lewis also has a distinguished background with the United States Air Force, serving as a LTC from July 2004 to June 2012. W. Cannon Lewis earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine (1994-1998), a Bachelor's degree from Rice University (1990-1994), and completed medical education at UT Health San Antonio (1998-2003) and St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center (2003-2004).
