Kitterman Jay

Kitterman Jay possesses extensive experience in the hospitality and culinary fields, currently serving as a Contributing Writer for Food & Travel at The State Journal-Register since September 2018. With a long-standing role at Lincoln Land Community College since December 1994, Kitterman has held multiple positions including Consultant and Program Director of the Hospitality & Culinary Institute, where significant programs for credit and non-credit classes were established. Additionally, Kitterman is an Illinois State Fair Pie Judge and has previously held leadership roles such as CEO & Operating Partner at Big Buns Restaurants, General Manager at Holiday Inn East Conference Center, and Executive Assistant Manager at Clock Tower Resort & Conference Center. Kitterman’s educational background includes two Master's degrees in Business Management and Education Administration from Northern Illinois University, along with ABD status in Education Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield.
