Betsey Guzior

Betsey Guzior is an experienced features editor with over two decades of editorial expertise in journalism. Currently serving as the features editor at The State since February 2001, Betsey collaborates with newsroom staff, photographers, content producers, and designers to produce three print sections weekly and contribute to the front page. Additionally, Betsey plays a key role in enhancing the website's content and managing several Twitter accounts for interactive journalism. Prior to this role, Betsey worked at Copley Chicago Newspapers from 1991 to 2001, where responsibilities included central editing and planning for four daily newspapers and involvement in special projects. Betsey holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Sociology from Eastern Illinois University, earned between 1978 and 1982.
