Joshua Boucher

Visual Journalist at The State Newspaper

Joshua Boucher is an accomplished visual journalist with extensive experience in photojournalism. Currently serving as a visual journalist at The State Newspaper since January 2020, Joshua has previously worked as a photojournalist at Panama City News Herald and Texarkana Gazette. Early career experience includes an internship as a photojournalist at Chautauquan Daily, where coverage included a variety of events at the Chautauqua Institution, and multiple internships, including positions at Sakaal Times and Bloomington Herald-Times. Joshua is well-versed in teaching, having been a teaching assistant at the University of Missouri, wherein responsibilities included instructing students on studio lighting and advanced techniques. Joshua holds a Master's degree in Journalism with a focus on photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Photography and Political Science from Bennington College.
