Denise Zieske

Denise Zieske serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Workforce Development at The State University of New York since August 2018, where responsibilities include developing and implementing workforce programs across 30 community colleges and supporting workforce efforts statewide and nationally. Previously, Denise held the position of Vice President for Workforce Development & Community Education at Schenectady County Community College, leading a team and managing a substantial budget while fostering partnerships for training and education programs. Additional experience includes roles as Business Partnership Coordinator at Tech Valley High School, Strategic Business & Economic Development Manager at Albany County Airport Authority, Vice President of Economic Development at the Center for Economic Growth, Economic Developer at National Grid, and Director of Economic Development at Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce. Denise holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University at Albany and a Bachelor's degree in French, Linguistics, and Business Management from Drew University.
