Ian Rosenblum

Ian Rosenblum currently serves as the Chief of Staff and Senior Vice Chancellor for Policy Implementation at The State University of New York, a position held since February 2023. Previously, Ian held the role of Principal at ILO Group until January 2023 and served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Programs at the U.S. Department of Education from January 2021 to January 2022. Ian was also the Executive Director of The Education Trust–New York from August 2016 to January 2021. Other notable positions include Deputy Secretary for Education & Economic Opportunity and Director of Policy Coordination in the office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, and several roles in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's government, culminating as Secretary of Policy & Planning. Ian holds a Master of Government Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
