Sadie Ross

Sadie Ross currently serves as the Director of Sustainability and Climate Action at The State University of New York since September 2023. Prior roles include Director of Compliance at Empire State University, where responsibilities included developing cross-divisional projects to enhance compliance and manage institutional policy programs. Sadie also worked as a Program Analyst at the New York State Office of Cannabis Management, developing inspection processes for licensed cultivators, and has an extensive background in compliance and strategic planning at Empire State University from 2010 to 2022. Additional experience includes leadership positions in environmental sustainability and program management at organizations such as One World Conservation Center and various cooperative extensions. Sadie holds a Master of Public Administration from the University at Albany, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Horticultural Science from Virginia Tech and Cornell University, respectively. An Associate's degree in Horticultural Science was earned from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville.
