Nissy New is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in organizational leadership and development, currently serving as Chief Growth Officer and Chief People and Development Officer at The States Project since August 2022. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations at Housing Forward, and Director of Trust Nissy's at the Child Poverty Action Lab, where strategic initiatives were developed to enhance contraceptive access. Nissy New has also served as Director of Strong Nonprofits and Director of Income Impact at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, focusing on increasing nonprofit effectiveness and managing significant grant allocations. Earlier experience includes roles at Clarkson Davis, The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center, and Perot Systems. Nissy New holds a Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Dallas.
