Sarah McCarthy is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Senior Content Manager at The States Project since July 2021, following a role as Content Manager. Prior to that, Sarah held various positions at the Alzheimer's Association® from August 2018 to July 2021, including Regional Director Of Communications and Director of Communications for Tennessee. Sarah's early career comprised journalistic roles at NewsChannel 5 Network, KCRG-TV9, and KWWL, as well as an investigative researcher position at NBC News. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa.
