Marco Guirado

Marco Guirado has extensive work experience in international sales and marketing roles within the agricultural industry. Marco is currently the VP of International Sales at Aqua-Yield, where they began in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the International Business Director at Stoller Group starting in August 2019. From July 2015 to July 2019, they held the position of Regional Business and Marketing Manager for Mexico, Central, and South America at Valent BioSciences. Marco also served as the Strategic Marketing Manager at Valent BioSciences from May 2014 to June 2015.

Before joining Valent BioSciences, Marco worked as a Global Product Manager at BASF from September 2013 to March 2014. Marco also has experience as the Mexico Business Development & Sales Lead at BeckerUnderwood from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they held various marketing and sales roles at BASF in Brazil and Mexico from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they worked as a Sales Manager at HarrisMoran Seed Company in 2004.

Marco's career in the agricultural industry began in 1995 when they joined Valent USA as a Commercial Development Manager. During their tenure at Valent USA, they played a key role in the company's transition to being handled by Sumitomo Chemical Co.

Marco Guirado completed an Executive Program in Marketing at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2016. Prior to that, in 2012, they obtained an Executive Graduate Certificate in Customer Focused Strategy - Marketing from Rice University. In 1998, they also completed a Diplomado in Marketing at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
