Matt Messersmith

Matt Messersmith serves as the Lead Software Architect at The Stratagem Group since September 2020, focusing on code quality and domain expertise, particularly in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (IR) as well as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Ursa, specializing in SAR image processing for oil tank measurements, and a position as a Machine Learning Engineer at Vanguard. Earlier, Matt worked at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer involved in signals processing and numerical analysis using C++ and Python. Matt's foundational experience includes a Bioinformatics Research Assistant role at Lehigh University, where a bioinformatics pipeline was established, and a Software Development Internship at Invensys, developing a user-friendly GUI in C#. Matt holds both a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Lehigh University.
